The founder of STUDIO SLOW is Rosita Hoogenboom. My passion for art and fashion has been a part of me for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was always creating—whether through drawing, working with fabric, making collages, or even graffiti. My awareness of the problematic fast fashion industry inspired me to start STUDIO SLOW. The company was founded in 2019 as a school project with Meike Heldt, Minke Eissens, and Melanie Birkhoff. Our core values are uniqueness, sustainability, fashion activism, and creativity. We strive to make the world a better place by rejecting fast fashion and giving old clothes a second chance. Additionally, we support emerging artists by offering them a platform and promoting their work.

It’s hard to be a 100% sustainable company, and we don’t want to claim something we’re not. However, we strive to be as sustainable as possible. This is how we do it: - All the items are second-hand. - Within Amsterdam, we will personally bring your item by bike. - Our packages are made of recycled paper. - To be sustainable is one of our main focuses, so naturally, with every decision that we make, we choose the most sustainable option.

You have 14 days to return an item after your purchase has arrived. Items must be unworn and have the original tags to be eligible for a refund. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. To reduce pollution from package deliveries, we encourage you to think carefully before making a purchase.
